Following the recent BBC documentary snippet that went viral on Monday, 8 January, 2024 concerning the crimes of late Nigerian church founder of Synagogue Church Of All Nations, T.B Joshua, there have been an uprise among Nigerians, members, and non-members of the church concerning the validity of the stories.
In the BBC documentary, it was alleged, based on alleged eye-witnesses and victims testimonies, that the late Prophet T.B Joshua, as he was called, sexually abused his members, tortured them, forced them to have abortions, did despicable things, performed fake miracles, amongst other things. Many individuals have taken to their twitter pages to confirm and support , either based on their personal experience, hearsay, suspicions, and experiences of people they know, the factuality of the BBC documentary. On the other hand, members and beneficiaries of his ministry, have openly stood in support of the late founder despite the documentary.

Among the crowd of those who reacted to the report and the calling of T.B Joshua is Nollywood actress, Ronke Ojo. Concerning the goodwill of the man of God and the validity of his miracles, Ronke Ojo defended him by stating that the late prophet healed her daughter of asthma in time past.
On Friday, 12 January, 2024, Ronke Ojo to her instagram page to narrate her experience with the cleric, insisting that he was a good man and disputed the claims of his fake miracles. She stated:
“I want to tell the world what the late Senior Prophet TB Joshua did for me and my daughter. Initially, I don’t believe in prophecy, I am not that kind of person because there are so many scammers out there. But when I went to church that fateful day, my daughter had Asthma, to God be the glory, he delivered her, Something came out of her mouth which I didn’t believe, and my junior sister experienced something similar. That was when I started going to TB Joshua’s church”
“Apart from that, he was a nice man to me and my family. I just want people to know that for me, he is a nice man and a man of God.”
